I work on Mac G5 with Pro tools where I open VE Pro as a plugin to connect to my Vienna library on another server. My VE Pro server was running perfectly until I installed Novation SL MKII software with Automap, the VE Pro plugin suddenly crashed and stopped to function ! My Mac was unable to connect to my main Vienna Library server besides the connect button of the VE Pro plugin became disabled.
Then when I uninstalled the Novation software VE Pro functioned normally again. I can still use my SL 61 MKII keyboard but only as a midi controller without the Automap feature which takes away a lot from its potentials. If this sounds familiar to anybody please tell me how to get around this problem.
