Hello. I have a question. I am working on a Mac Pro which has two 1gbit ethernet ports. I have my main network (hosting several slave PC's, LAN-controlled MIDI) setup and connected to one of the ports. Then I decided to give my VE Pro slave(s) the best conditions for network throughput, and use the 2nd ethernet port on the Mac Pro to create a secondary network with another IP range. This works great, except the VE Pro instances take much, much longer to connect to the slave. On my main network it connects pretty much instantly when I choose an instance to connect, but on the secondary network it takes maybe 3-5 seconds per instance, which can get pretty ugly with 10 instances or so. Anyone have a solution? Would adding another router to create the secondary network help, compared to having my Mac create the network?

Hmmm, I have a similar setup and didn´t encounter problems but maybe the announcement is slower when using 2 networks. I´ll get back to you when I have some further information. Maya
