Hi, there is no difference. It´s just 2 ways to name the same feature. Best, Paul

Morning Paul! :-) Thanks. But, seriously? The VSL SE features both types. They are the same?

As Paul says, in VSL libraries 'legato' is just a short way of saying 'performance legato'. Can you give the full names of the two types of legato patch you're seeing in SE?

Actually no I can't. I was way too quick with my question cause it's simply not so! Sorry for the (my) confusion! So pls disregard that question! What I saw was this, in the Epic Horns section: Legato perf.rep legato However, another question arises; what's the difference between those two then? Thanks folks!

Legato = interval-based samples optimised for legato melody lines. Perf-rep legato = 'repetition' performances optimised for legato repeated notes.
