  • VEPro, Cubase and Surround Sound?

Ok, So I'm an experienced VEP user but I can't figure out how to use surround in Cubase 5.5 mac.  I know about the surround panner in Cubase but that is not the problem.

In Cubase, how do i Separate the incoming audio from my slave machine (a PC) so I can send for instance, the dry signal of some drums to channels 1-2 and the room signal of the drums to 3-4?  All the surround panner does is move the ENTIRE signal from front to back in the sound field (I'm using Quadro)

In Logic this is easy, you just create an AUX channel off the main channel and then set it to pick up the correct incoming audio.  Cubase does not seem to have a way to "separate" the incoming audio from VEP?

    Any Ideas???

    Thanks!

  • All the audio channels that are returned from VEP come back as VSTi Outputs. If you haven't set up separate outputs for the wet and dry signals in VE Pro, you won't get these returned to any sequencer. If you haven't, then it would seem that you haven't set things up correctly in Cubase. Have you enabled all the VSTi Outputs that you need?
