Or do you think I will need to upgrade to the 128k version??

Personally, I think 48k of RAM should be enough, but I'm a bit worried about working in 8-bit sound.

Will this hinder MIR's Multi-Impulse Responses??

Very nice - looks like a brand-new machine! There's no doubt that you will able to type the letters "MIR" in close-to-realtime. ;-D

you may have troubles to load bigger arrangements, however i would recommend a Zaxon AY-Magic Sound Interface for lower latency Cool

and remember: a CRAY is the only computer that runs an endless loop in just four hours ...
