I'm testing the demo of VE Pro. I'm trying to connect VE Pro to Finale through a IAC bus. But I'm not seeing any VE Pro ports to select either in Finale or my audio/midi setup. How can I make this connection.
(VE Pro does show up in Finale's Audio Units midi setup, but I'd like to be able to use it thru the IAC busses.)

I don't understand what you are exactly trying to do and why.
Which Finale version do you have?
With Finale 2009 or later you don't need the IAC bus. Just start Vienna Ensemble Pro Server before starting Finale and then load the Vienna Ensemble Pro plugin with Finale. If it doesn't appear, maybe you have to activate it in the MIDI/Audio/Manage AU plugins window first.

VE Pro shows up as an AU Plugin right in FInale 2011. That much is working fine.
But I want to use it as an IAC bus, so I can always leave VE Pro open and switch between different Finale documents that are using the same VE Pro setup. What I need to know is how do I make the VE Pro ports show up in my midi setup?
