Installing a new DL extended library to an existing DL standard library

Hi there, i have some woodwind download standard libaries and plan to buy the appropiate new extended libraries. No big deal, but the advertisement says something like "extended libraries sometimes include more velocity layers for standard library patches". So, my standard libraries are somewhere on my hard drive, the extended libraries probably will go somewhere else. Will they know of each others existence? In other words, how have I to do the installation of both libraries correctly? Thanks in advance Jochen

 Hi Jochen,

the download of the Extended libraries includes all the data of the standard libraries.

So if you like you can remove the old datas after installing the Extendeds from you directory manager.

A possible reason to keep the old database is to keep compatibility with older projects or templates.
