problem transfering metaframe from Mac to Pc

Hi,

I am trying to transfer a vePro metaframe and vi frame from my Mac to my pc with banks of Kontakt 4 loaded. Both computers have the latest version of ve pro and the same latest version of Kontakt 4. When I load the metaframe into the pc , it loads all the strips and settings but can't load the kontakt plug in . The error message is "could not load plug in Kontakt 4" . But when I then insert a new Kontakt instrument by add vsti Kontakt loads fine and allows me to load previously saved Kontakt multis that were on my pc ...To make me even more frustrated I thought I could load Kontakt as a standalone load in my saved multi from the mac version which it does fine and then resave it , but when I try to load it into a new Kontakt inside Vepro I get the same error again"the patch could not be loaded" . Man it's nuts and driving me crazy.Any ideas?

Had the same problem here when trying to load a pc metaframe on the mac. The problem seems to be, that the kontakt vst plugin uses a different name on mac and pc: on mac its just called "kontakt4" and on pc you have "kontakt 4 16 out" or 8 out.

I pretty sure that I also have Kontakt4 (as well as the others you mentioned) on PC. Are you sure that you don't have this option as well?

SO did you find a solution? I have solved one problem at least , I can now load the Kontakt with my saved multis because I realized I didnt have the same version of Kontakt ie 4.1 as opposed to 4.2 where they were saved. Ve pro still will not load a meta frame saved on the mac althogh I have identical samples on each computer.
