  • What other reverb plugs do you have, that you are comparing this to? Thanks

  • Thanks for the quick fix and update. So far so good.

  • Altiverb (TDM and Native), TL Space (Native), Liquid Sonics (Native), Vienna Suite Convo Rev, Eventide TDM Rev, Revibe (Avid TDM), 2016 Plate Rev, 2016 Room Rev (TDM)

I also have in my patch bay a dual stereo hardware Rev TCM3000 which opens in every session.

They are all different and are good at specific things. That's my approach anyway.

  • Thanks for the detailed list. The context helps us!

  • Yes it's really excellent and the free upgrade is a welcome and unexpected surprise!

The whole Vienna Suite is such a good set of plugs. Every single one of them is so usefull. I was sceptacle at first and really just wanted the convo rev to use in VEP (cos all my rev plugs were on my master and were all RTAS or TDM)

I didn't htink that the Vienna folks could match the experience of the long time plug coders for ProTools. I was wrong about that and now I can't wait to use them inside PT.

At the moment I can't because VS is Intel only. I'm about to make my slave Intel my master and retire my PPC.

Now I get to use the Hybrid Rev and all the other Vienna plugs in my PTools sessions as well.

  • Can't live without the ol 'faithful - Vienna EQ!

I have an expensive collection of waves plug ins, now a bit out of date for my software. I have no reason to upgrade them (AGAIN!) to work with my system. (For those who don't know, Waves plug ins go out of date every 3 weeks, and you need to subscribe to their upgrade system, which is $5000 a week, and you need to direct debit this from your bank account, or they send a swat team and take your dongle - (not your actual dongle, I mean your waves dongle, that plugs into the computer...)

  • I know what you mean. But they do make a lot of great plugs.

Still, I would definitely keep a firm grip on my dongle.

They are hard to replace and those Swat Teams seem a little rough.
