  • Output volume from Sibelius

I exeperience that the output volume (gain) from Sibelius is very low. That means I have to have the volume on a high level on my sound equipment when playing back from Sibelius.

Usually there's a way to adjust the volume of the sound that goes from a program to the sound equipment. (to take a simple example, you can adjust the volume in YouTube).

But I haven't found a way to do this in Sibelius. Have I missed something?

  •  In the Sibelius mixer you have the sub mixer on the right (green strip - probably called V.Ens) and on the left the Master output (grey strip). Both of these will control the master output level. They seem to default to 0dB,  but you can increase both by 6dB.
