I have just bought a new computer with Windows 7 64-bit, and a new USB sound module: M-Audio Fast Track C400. I have transferred Sibelius 6.2 over to the new computer and installed my VSL libraries.
I can get Sibelius to run OK through to my speakers using Sibelius Essentials sounds, but I am having problems getting Sibelius to play back via VSL.

Hello Peter!
It seems to me that you have a mismatch of the versions of Vienna Ensemble service and plugin. I recommend the following procedure.
- Delete all Vienna Ensemble.dll and Vienna Ensemble x64.dll files you find on your computer
- Reinstall the latest version of Vienna Ensemble. Take care, where you install the 32-bit plugin of Vienna Ensemble. You may have to assign this folder in Sibelius under Playback Devices/Audio Engine Options.

I had already installed the latest version of Vienna Ensemble only 2 days ago.
From the information you gave me above though, I could see that the Vienna Ensemble.dll file that Sibelius was pointing to was an old version, so replaced it with the new 32-bit version and suddenly communication between Sibelius and VSL is restored !
