    Can midi plugins like Mildon Strummer be used with VEP? http://www.mildonstudios.com/product_ms3.html I primarily use logic on the mac and I would love to connect to a windows instance of VEP and use something like this.

    I requested support from the developer and here is his reply: Vienna Ensemble Pro is compatible with VST2.4/32-bit MIDI plugins, and therefore it should work with the soundfont mode of Mildon Strummer 3. To be able to use the MIDI-Out strumming mode of MS3 (the one that lets you strum other VSTi's/instruments) your host should be able to reroute MIDI output from the plugin to other plugins/tracks. I'm not sure if VEP can do this since there is little information on their website about it. I recommend asking in the developer's support forums to confirm/clarify this as they would be able to answer this better. Please advise. Thanks!

    VE Pro currently doesn't support MIDI output from VST plugins, but apart from that it's just another VST host.
