  • metaframe file integrity check failed (PROBLEM SOLVED)

I'm using a dual core 2 Duo iMac OS 10.6.8 with 8 gig of memory as a slave to my Mac Pro. I'm just trying to save one instance of VE PRO with 3 VSL instruments in it in 64 bit mode. I'm getting the "metaframe file integrity check failed" message when I try to reload after saving. I've had this problem before with VE PRO and ended up not using it because I couldn't save anything. Any ideas?? thanks

  • Hello, I'm having the same problem. It says (PROBLEM SOLVED) could you tell me how it was solved please? Thank you!

    Hello David,

    It´s quite simple, actually.

Metaframes (*.mframes) can only be loaded in the VE PRO SERVER.

viframes can only be loaded into instances of Vienna Ensemble Pro.

So the interesting text of the error message actually translates to something like:

"You are trying to load a file format that cannot be loaded in the VE PRO Server. If you are trying to load a *.viframe file, please open it from the file menu in a new or existing VE PRO instance".

The file formats are explained on page 21 in the VE PRO 5 manual as well.

    Best,

    Paul

  • I'm sorry to ask again, but does that mean there is a way of opening a metaframe once is gives that error? I checked the manual and didnt see what you were talking about. My meta frame is always on my desktop and I did nothing differently. I just clicked it and it didn't work... Do i have to start over or can I fix it and get it to work? I tried also opening up the server and going to file > open metraframe. Still same error. Thank you

  • Hi,

Which error message do you get, with which version of VE PRO, on which OS?

You can always send screenshots and additional information or even while metaframe files (zipped) to
