  • Volume Problems in VEPro 5

    VSL Community

I am using the VEP Logic Multiport environment with VEPro5 and MIR Pro with Logic 9.1.7.  I have a project that exhibits volume problems using this setup.

The volume slider on the software instrument into which I have loaded VE Pro 5 moves up and down without any midi controller data input.  This causes changes in volume at various time intervals in a project I am working on at the moment.  66 VI instances.

Has anybody got any ideas what could be causing this undersirable changes in volume.

Also how does one automate the volume sliders in VE Pro5 from Logic?

    Regards

  • did you try to convert CC 7 to CC 11 with a transformer in the Environnement

    Thanks for your reply.

I have put a transformer into the environment page.  Where do you connect it? How do you define it so it transforms volume cc into expression cc?

I am not sure this will help because the volume slider on the software instrument moves without any midi data on the software instrument track that has VE Pro 5 on it, and this is connected to the all ports of the multiport setup.  It might being activated from one of the external 66 midi tracks that I am using for the project I am working on.
