Paul, Will there be an update for VE Pro 4 in order to ensure compatibility for OSX 10.8? Thanks.

Hi, Only current software will be updated. To install VE PRO 4, either lower the Gatekeeper settings or "Ctrl-Click" the installer for an exception. It will install just fine. Best, Paul

The Ensemble page has the same link as the Intrument page. Edit: Nevermind, I see VI installs VE as well. Is that something new?

Indeed it is. VE (non-Pro) is rather useless without VI, so they're now bundled in a single installer.

Hi, One of the VE Pro 5 changes is: "Reworked network protocol for improved reliability". Is this protocol different/better from the one in VE PRO 4? I am still on V4 as I do not need any of the V5's features. I wonder now though if upgrading to VEPro5 will give me any performance and/or stability improvement over V4 (which I am pretty happy with though). Thank you.

On the whole, VE Pro 5 should be faster and more reliable, especially since this last update.

I know I'm being greedy (!) but I was really hoping that this update to Vienna Suite would contain some lovely EQ presets for the newer instruments - Dimension brass, newer bassoon, Bb trumpet etc Any chance of these at some point? - I'm far more a composer than engineer and I find these presets so helpful Steve

Hi Paul - any idea when VE Pro 5 will support Avid's AAX plugin format? Thank you,
