Hello, Just wonder if anyone encountering this as well. Let's say I have 4 pairs of stereo outputs in K5 (K5O1 to K5O4) and 4 input channels in VEpro (VEPin1 to VEPin4), and it has been routed as K5O1 > VEPin1, K5O2 > VEPin2, and so on. After installing build 11262 today and loading up my usual template, I found the routings of the outputs of K5 do not go to the correct inputs in VEpro, let's say it becomes : K5O1 > VEPin1 K5O2 > VEPin3 K5O3 > VEPin3 and(!!) VEPin4 K5O4 > no sound Sorry I cannot provide more info nor do any troubleshootings for the moment as I need to start a new project tomorrow so I already installed back an older build, which is working correctly again. I am just curious if anyone else encounters this or not. Or perhaps it's my bad luck? Cheers, Frankie

Well, thanks for the reply, at least I know I am not alone! I tried reassigning the in/out-puts as well but they got so random that I decided to go back to an older build instead.

Dear VSL team I tested it again today and so far I got the following findings :

Hi! I think this is because of the added mono output support in VEP. When you load up a Kontakt instance in your sequencer (presuming you haven't changed Kontakts output config), Kontakt will be setup with about 4 stereo ouputs, while all the rest (about 50) will be mono channels So what you have to do is go to the "output" tab in Kontakt and reconfigure your outputs. Click "add channels" and add the desired number of (stereo) channels, and you should probably check "Delete existing channels...". Then restart your project, and Kontakt will be loaded with the correct number of stereo outputs, and the output in VEP should be correct. -tom

Hello Tom Thanks for your suggestion and it did solve the routing problem BUT I had to start a project fresh, which seems not be a feasible solution as I already have a working template. I know I could just start anew but consider all the FX inserts inside Kontakt and VEPro it would be a nightmare! Hope VSL will come up with a solution, as I believe if it worked in the past, there must be a way to make it work now too. Thanks again anyway :) Frankie EDIT : On the bright side, if an older build works and I have no need for the new features in the newer build, I would consider this solved! :) I still hope VSL will have some ways to solve this though in their future builds. Thanks all!

Oh BTW, I guess this should be the culprit, according to Tom? "WIN: Added support for VST's with mixed stereo/mono output buses (such as BFD2)"

Hi! You do not have to start a new project. When you reconfigure the output on 1 Kontakt instance, and restart the VE Pro server, it will be reconfigured for all Kontakt instances. I just did this on a template weighing in on about 60 gb. You may have to manually assign some outputs on some Kontakt instruments, but that shoudn't be to time consuming. Just save a new default output setup in Kontakt (VST), and reload your template. That should do it.

Hi Tom, It is working now, thank you so much! Guess I have missed or overlooked something on my first try. Thanks again :) Frankie
