    Can I just ask if the power panner in VE pro 5 (not the one in the Vienna Suite) is affected by the panning law preference or is that just for the balance slider?

    It's also affected by the pan law from the preferences.

    Hi Karl. Thanks for confirming.  Do you know what the pan law was in VE pro 4 and whether it is different to the default setting of -3dB in VE pro 5?

    The only pan law in VE Pro 4 was 0dB. VE Pro 4 projects will automatically load with this pan law in VE Pro 5. You can change the pan law from the main menu of a VE Pro 5 instance (Edit -> Project Settings...).

    Hi Karl thanks for your reply again. I'm trying to work out why instruments sound much louder in a project when it's opened up in VE pro 5 rather than VE pro 4. I was hoping it might be the different pan law....
