Any chance of supporting REWIRE

I will make this short....

I do not like to REWIRE from my host into REASON.....the host takes too big of a hit on its ASIO meter.  Currently I run a VST-Rewire plug from FL Studio(?).  It is ok but limits to just 16channels and is 32 bit only.

I would love for VE PRO 64 bit to be able to host to a REWIRE app like REASON.

Any chance of implementing this?

Thanks,
Danny

IMHO the problem with rewire is that the Midi connection is not in both directions (or did they finally get that right?) so you need some external MIDI routing which is not sample accurate. rewire is only great if the Master/Host is the workhorse ( doing MIDI sequencing, audio recording and mixing) .

As VEPro does not do MIDI sequencing and audio recording -to me -it does not seem to be a good host.

just my opinion.

best
