Hello all at VSL,

I still have VE3 installed on my machines for opening legacy projects, but other legacy projects use VE4/5 with the basic VI Player. I now cannot open the VE4/5 projects as the basic VI player has been upgraded and needs to be installed separately (along with VE). I'm worried that if I install the new VI/VE software it will overwrite VE3. Is it possible to only install VI?

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Just wanted to give this a bump.

People at VSL - is it possible to install VI without VE?

Or failing that if I install the combined VI/VE will my installation of VE3 remain intact?

Thank you.

no, not possible. you will have to copy the VE3 program folder to another location, then install the new VI.

Thanks Martin. I'll give that a try in the next few days.
