    Sorry, this has probably been asked a million times.... I love the way VE Pro 5 works on my system in terms of keeping all my VI's simple. Before I shell out, is it really worth using on my single PC? What exactly are the advantages?

    I've been using VEP 5 and all the other software on on machine, and it all works out great for me.  I don't have any problems with load time or anything.  I don't understand the whole Master/Slave thing when it comes to setups, so I kind of just ignore it.

    I've only noticed the performance difference here with my largest projects, which I had to raise the buffers for more than I'd like. Mostly I haven't noticed any difference. However I'm not doing huge symphonic work atm. It is a gigantic difference, VEP as local host compared with plugins in the seq. host.
