I'm running a project in Cubase 6.0.7 (32-bit). I have Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 running on a networked PC. I'm sending four audio streams to one 64-bit instance. When the audio comes back, it has a latency, which is becoming obvious as I place a second or third plugin on each channel in Vienna Ensemble. Why is the latency not being compensated for?

[SOLVED] Why am I getting playback latency?
-
I am running the latest version on VEP and Digital Performer 8 in 64bit, and am using VEP to run three instantiations of MOTUs MX4 VI.
I too have latency compensation enabled, but am also seeing "0" as the latency compansation number.
MX4 is playing three different tempo locked arpeggiators, and they are all running 66 ticks late. When I print them to audio and move the audio back 66 ticks, they all are locked to the tempo.
Any suggestions?

I think I've figured this out. I changed the buffer setting on the Server Interface dialogue to "none" and that fixed it. I do have 28 GB RAM, it's not an issue right now.
Perhaps I haven't noticed the latency before, because I rarely use this particular 32 bit plug-in (MOTU's MX4) as a tempo synched arpeggiator.
