probably an age old question.

"Add VSTi" menu doesn't show kontakt or any other NI ... only shows play_VST_x64.

How do you fix that?

Hi brianmcbrearty,

Did you check that you have a 64 bit version of Kontakt installed, and it´s in the correct (assigned) VST Plug-in folder (VE PRO Server => Preferences)?

Best,

Paul

Make sure that your Kontakt .dll (64-bit version) is in the same folder that your play_VST_x64 is in. (move the Kontakt one - not the play_VST_64 one !).

or you could tell VE Pro under preferences where the Kontakt .dll is located to.  It would be tidier though to have all your VST's in one folder though.

Thank you both.

Did essentially what you advised.

I reinstalled Kontakt and directed the vsts into the common files folder and then pointed VE Pro at it by adding the folder to VE Pro ==> Prefs.

Everything good now.
