Didn't find any info here about my problem and search function is very limited.

VEP5 can't find or see any VST or VSTi plugs. (MAC OSX 10.8.4).
AU are listed.
Rescanning does not help

VEP doesn't load VST plugs on OSX. AU only, I'm afraid.

And what do you have to put where to make that happen? My VEPro sees only the biggies that I assume installed themselves. What if I want to use some tiny synth nobody ever heard of in VEPro? How do I make VEPro see a synth?

VE Pro server, preferences\plugins tab\scan

you want the AU, .components in the components folder, of course. I think it should see them if installed in 'user name'\audio\plugins\components but if not put them in the regular directory.

Is there a way to easily migrate a PC-based vienna project file to MAC?
Nothing loads because everything on the PC is VST and the mac doesn't automatically recognize the AU counterparts.
Thanks

VSL stuff will load, but it's unlikely that anything else will.

No, you're going to have to replace all the third-party VST with AU manually.
