  • Routing VEP Slave Output to HardWare Interface?

    Hi,

is it possible, to route the AudioOutputs of Channels in VEP to a connected HardwareInterface (fe. with FireWire)...?

Or is just possible to get the signals hearable via NetworkConnection...?

    Best

    Chris

  • Hi Chris,

VE PRO can only send audio back to the host sequencer, so you can pick up the audio signals there and route them to a Hardware Interface.

  • .... or you use VE Pro in stand-alone mode: Then the application will receive MIDI-data and send audio to any ASIO / Core Audio interface.

  • Stand Alone Mode...?

I have a ProTools HDSystem here in a studio, where I wanna get sounds into it... as he HostCPU is not really strong, I have to find a way to put the signals from the VEP Setup in 8 channels into the PT..., but with small delay and not so big, that it is unplayable..

So I thought to get the Sounds from the "Slave"Mac not via Network into the HD System, but over Analog or ADAT Lines...

When I use Stand Alone Mode, it's not possible to get the MIDI Traffic over Network, as that right...? And it's not possible to open up a saved VEP Pro Server Project with several instances directly in the StandAlone Version...?
