Hello,
I am in a quandary on this one. I really don't know whether to go ahead with VEPRO on my single PC system. I have recently bought the Cube from a private seller with full VSL accreditation and I also have a number of non-VSL libraries eg Spectrasonics,ProjectSam and some others. Cubase 6.5 is my DAW running Kontakt. The PC is i7 Quad Core 3.06GHz with 5 drives. I intend to run as much of the VSL libs as I can on a new internal SSD and spread any excess onto an existing internal empty HD. It appears to me from the VSL videos and various forums that VEPRO is especially geared up to run with a slave computer(s) but I would not for the moment prefer to go down that route. Does anyone run VEPRO on a single system and in your experiences what have been the benefits to you ?
Regards,
Patrick

VEPRO on a single computer

Hi Patrick,
VE PRO runs great on a one-computer setup as well! You should get a free demo-license on VE PRO product page (click "try" and make sure that you are logged in with the email address you registered your products with, hint: NOT the one you used for this forum name...).
Main advantages:
- "Preserve" keeps your samples loaded, while you switch between songs.
- 32 and 64 bit VE PRO Servers can be used simultaneously.
- Also, as you have just registered MIR PRO, it will also be available in VE PRO in the background, with more routing flexibility!
AND you should check out VI PRO to take advantage of faster loading times with SSD drives for your VI Collections (click "Try").
=> Lots of videos available here, and of course there will be manuals in the User Area of each Software product.
Best,
Paul
