Hey Guys,
I am trying to use VEP Pro inside X3 using Vst3 and I am a bit lost. I can route the midi fine but I can't seem to get the audio going on multiple outputs.. My typical setup is
Strings (16 midi and 2 audio outs into X3 (short and long) Brass (16 midi 1 audio out into X3) Winds (16 midi 1 aduio out into X3) etc.....
Also occasionally I get a notification that "please close and re-start Kontakt after a sample rate change" when opening new project files in X3. Why? I have everything at 48k (my internal word clock in Apollo and X3. Can I have VEP pro always remain in 48k?
Last thing I have been getting audio drop outs in X3/Apollo and I am starting to think VEP could be part of the issue. What's the best latency setting for the daw? I sometime record guitar and would like to work at 128 samples if possible.
Thanks for reading my novel!

Hello,
The new update to X3c works a bit better with routing etc but the VST3 host still doesn't seem to act any different than the VST2 Host. The manual says you don't need to use a Vienna Ensemble Pro Event input to access more midi ports if using VST3, but I do..
Help??

Unfortunately, Cakewalk has yet to incorporate that aspect of VST3.

Thanks Bill...I will bug Cakewalk about it.
Still trying to track down a drop out issue...do you run VEP Pro on the same machine as Sonar? If so what are your latency settings? Everything is mostly working but it feels like a limp, and I have a great box/Apollo Quad soundcard.
