    Does anyone have some clue as to why Ve pro 5 has stopped loading at the check plugins stage.If I reinstall version 4 it works... but no matter which version of VE pro 5 i install i only get the unhandled exception warning...could it be  a windows 7 Ultimate issue.Do I have to clear registry and if so how?

    Ok I have fixed my error on load by locating the "vienna Ensemble Pro" file in the AppData folder (which is hidden as standard on 7 ultimate)

    and deleted it,I then made a separate temporary folder and moved all plugins there to reload one by one or small clusters and deleted any faulty ones...worked for me goodluck!!!

    No idea, but I often get the same error in VEPro 5 on Windows 7 Pro when closing VE.

    Same issue here on Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 ( crash on exit )

    Are you sure that it isn't just one specific plug-in which causes this issue ...? Does this also happen when you close a VI Frame without any 3rd-party plug-ins instantiated?
