    I've recently found that my HS Diamond staccato patches are not very rythmically precise when playing back on my slave PC through VEP. A set of constant eighth notes will speed up and slow down, making the playing very sloppy. It renders staccato patches unusable through the slave machine. Changing the buffer settings makes no difference.

    The same patch loaded directly in my Logic session plays back with the correct timing, so I believe the issue is VEP related. 

    Is this a known issue and have others run into the same problem?

    After some more testing, I have been able to repeat the same behavior with the plug-in loaded directly in Logic. It only occurs after I unsolo a region after loading a staccato patch. If a patch is freshly loaded and the region is soloed, playback behavior is precise. 

    So, the problem appears to be with EastWest play, not VEP.
