    Does anyone know if any consideration has gone into a VSL mixing console emulation software? Something really tailored for the virtual orchestra sound. Perhaps something like the Studer 980 in Teldex?

    "Never say never" [;)] - but VSL has no plans to do virtual mixing console emulations in the foreseeable future.

    That would be a cool feature. How about the RC Tube setting in Slate Digital's VCC? That's an older tube that "might have" been used in some older recordings. Obviously, I'm totally guessing but at least of all of the consul emulations I've seen, we pretty much know from what era it comes from.

    From that, what console that is commonly emulated (Neve, SSL, Trident, API, Helios, REDD, etc..) might come close?
