  • Event Input in Mainstage

When I open an VEP plug in Mainstage and I assign it an Event Input the notes remain held and the sound disappears and impossible to play in this configuration. I never could use the Event Input in Mainstage!! Can you look at this issue ? Please !!

  • Hello legodo,

I confirm this issue with hanging notes in Mainstage when using an Event Input plug-in and we will look into this.

May I ask why you would use the Event Input plug-in in Mainstage in the first place?

    Best, Marnix

  • Hello marnix !! And thank you very much for your answer.

I want to use the Event Input because this allows me to be able to create instruments (event inputs) and then them to recover like alias and splitter in several layers on others patches, thing which one cannot only make with 1 plug VEP only. In any case thank you really for look at this.

    Hi Marnix

How about this issue ? Please is urgent !!😛

  • Hello legodo,

Everything is urgent around X-mas, but I´m afraid that this specific bug has to wait until the new year.
Sorry that I don´t have better news there. Do you have  a chance to work with a different host?

    Best,

  • Hello Paul and thank you very much for your answer !!

I noted something again: when one leaves open VEP5 (the plug in) in MainStage and using the event input, there is no more problem of sound which loops!!

I hope that will help your developers to determine the problem if that comes from that.

Merry christmas to you and the team of VSL.
