So many moons ago with a update the ability to add effects in the main window on the channels on the left seemed to have be removed.  I just now got around to asking about it.  Why?  I found that very useful and fast and never really switched into Mixer view to add effects but now I have too. Am I missing something and there is a preference somewhere?

This was a design decision by our developers, to keep things cleaned up (I think that was about a year ago). So far, this is the first comment on this topic.

Undocking the mixer makes all options available at any time again, so maybe that´s an option for you?
