    Hi,

     

    Something really weird has happened...

    I upgraded to Nuendo 7 and suddenly my VIpro gives spikes with only one patch, but a patch i use in almost every project.the Appassionata Sustained Strings.

    Empty project, 1 instance of VI when i play more than 5 notes together, Spike !!!

    at the same time i can have 30 other instances with other patches, and smooth play.

    latency buffer is sufficient at 1024 samples

    i did some more testing, and it is with every instrument, above about 40 voices....

     

    i checked the options page, but even if i set buffersize and pre-loaded instruments to max, above 40 voices means 100% spikes and clicks

    this is new, and i don't get it.

    Have you tried turning off asioguard for VEP in the plugin manager? Also try to set the buffer to 512 or 256 and see what happens.
