It's really leaving me with a bad impression that I can ask a question is someone else's thread about sales and it seems to be fine yet if I start my own thread with the same question it gets deleted repeatedly, with no explanation in my inbox.
If someone could outline the apparent grey area of whether or not it is in fact allowed for us to state we have instruments to sell or not, or why it may appear in some cases it is and in others not, it might help prevent me from stopping this bad taste that is beginning to form in my mouth about using these products.
Very shady.

AFAIK you are allowed to sell VSL instruments, under the following conditions:
- You inform VSL first
- You don't sell them on Ebay
- You can't advertise the sale here

Hello soundsreal,
As always, DG pretty much sums it up.
I have also answered in the other thread you posted in.

ok thanks then. I guess I should have figured it out on my own. Can I ask where people tend to generally sell them? Only Ebay is prohibited or all open advertising on the open web ie only private message boards.

Hi soundsreal,
Musician´s forums are a good place to look, usually.
The main point with reselling is that we need to monitor the license transfer process to avoid problems for both seller and buyer.

Not uncommon to see VSL items for sale in the VI Control Forum -- For Sale Section.
