Anyone used Altiverb 7 Reverb in VE PRO 5? Its working well - but noticed something odd.
Two WIN 7 systems, DAW (pro tools 12) and slave (running latest VE PRO 5 server).
DAW buffer set to 256.
Placed Altiverb 7 Reverb as an audio plugin in the slave
Placed an VE PRO 5 plugin in a DAW track (to connect to slave)
Placed VE PRO 5 audio plugin onto an aux track. Set buffer to zero. Would expect 256 samples to be shown. In actual fact it shows 1280 samples ?! So that sets the delay of the whole DAW system.
On the actual Altiverb 7 Reverb plugin it reports the "host" buffer as being 1024 samples.
If I remove or bypass the Reverb plugin, then the number of samples reported by the VE PRO 5 audio plugin is... 256 as expected.
I presume the reverb plugin is producing a buffer of its own? It is compensated correctly, but it means the whole DAW than uses this higher number of samples (1280).
Any thoughts / ideas?

Hi Mark,
With one or more VE Pro Audio/Event Input connected, one additional buffer of latency will be added to the VE Pro plugin's processing. So what you're seeing is a combination of Altiverb's 1024 samples of latency and one additional buffer of 256 samples. 1024 + 256 = 1280.
