  • Keycommand for displaying the VE intrstument in Cubase

    Hi,

Is it possible to display the instrument in VE you are currently working on in Cubase  via a keycommand.

For instance when i'm working in the Cubase Key Editor, i would like to see the instrument in VE via a shortcut key.

It would be very handy for selecting keyswitches and quickly adjusting paramenters in the instrument, without having to go to VE and doubleclick the instrument in the mixer.

    Cheers,

    Geert.

  • Hi Geert,

I see that you´re working with Vienna Ensemble PRO, which offers a MIDI Focus feature. Activate it in the menu bar in VE PRO, and VE PRO will "listen" to your MIDI input (if you play just one MIDI channel).

  • Hi Paul,

    Thank you for your reply.

Indeed the channel gets selected this way when sending MIDI data in Cubase, but is doesn't show Kontakt or VIpro automaticly, i still have to double click the name in the mixer.

Or am i missing something :)

  • Hi Geert,

IF you switch from the MIXER tab to the INSTRUMENT tab, VE PRO should display the GUI of the selected instrument, IIRC.
