Sorry 2 unrelated questions but perhaps someone can answer as I'm pretty close to ditching the tool given how slow it is to modernize

I use Ensemble 5 , i paid for 6. I don't want to ruin running into snafus and not be able to use5 at the same time. 

Has 6 added anything actually new that was needed ie signal routing ? Plugins that have a side in cannot be used and given that it is almost standard in even the worst DAWs, it would seem a rather basic feature for anyone.
