Different Instruments Loading Time

Hi all..

I asking my self, why my Cubase 8.5 Projekt loading-Time are so different every Time.

I Have a VEP 6 (problem occoured also in VEP5) with 1 Instance has VI`s (DS and DB) and a second Instance with with 1 Kontakt and 1 Omnisphere. The Third Instance are for Audio-Inputs (VEP-Audio-Input).

The First Instance have sometimes 2 or 3 minutes to loud the Samples, sometimes 20 seconds.

Preallocated 8192

Maximum Voices 8192

Instance Voice "max"

Directory-Manager 8192

Streaming-Threads  (6 Core j7 3940 k 3.4 GHz (12 Virtual))

And even it looks like there loaded all Samples, the Red Indicater (Red Dots) on "VOICES" are indicating some sample-Load Problems.

 

Same Buffer-Size, Samplerate..

Anyone have a idee?

I'm sorry, I'm having a difficult time understanding what's going on here.  Are you saying that when you load the same number of samples in two different instances that the load times are different?

Are you using SSD's or Sata drives?

I use SSDs, one for C: and one for VSL-Library.

When i load my Project which uses VEP`s as VST`s for VI`s (Dimension`s), the loading time of the VI`s are different sometimes. One time its loading-Time is about 90sec.. The next Time its about 3 or 4 Minutes.

The Preferences are discribed in the earlyer Threads.

Works just fine here on my SSD drives. Does anybody experience the same behavior?
