    I am on Logic Pro X, currently limited to 1 Midi Port natively. What is the best way to set up Server Project Instances?

    Currently I am using probably 10-12 Instances x 3 Servers spread across a Mac and 2 PC Slaves.

    I am aware of the Multiport solution, but that involves using Event plugins and forcing them into Live mode thus making them use 1 CPU Core.

    So given the quantity, is it worth trying Multiport or sticking with so many server instances?

    I am forced to go this route for several reasons:

    1. In Logic I use Midi FX scripts and currently only one can be used per Software Instrument track so you cannot have different ones on Multitimbral tracks. *

    2. In Logic to gain independent volume and FX I have to put each instrument on a separate Software Instrument track. *

    * So I have to have 1 Server instance per Instrument group (eg Multi of articulations for say a Violin).

    What do other people using Logic and VEP and a large template do?
