    Hi,

    In my recent orchestral template I have adjusted all the instrument track volumes to seem balanced between groups.

    However I wonder what is the best way to do it? as I can see there is the possibility to adjust the levels out from MIR to get the desiered balance.

    I have a suspicion that MIR acts differently with different input volumes.

    Any experiences from experimenting on this?

    It'S a matter of personal habits and taste, mostly. Technically, MIR's processing is not level-dependent. Personally, I tend to make "balances" with MIR's volume control, while using Instrument's volume more as a performance tool.
