    Are there plans for recording any vibrato solo clarinet articulations? I would particularly love to have a variety of crescendo articulations that start non-legato and then swell in volume to a rather strong vibrato.

    well, never say never, but this playing-style is not scheduled to our priority list at the moment. in viennese orchestras you will get fired the moment you try your first vibrato on the clarinet, but our player is a top musician, maybe he could show us a solution someday.

    This would be a very expressive addition, especially for solo passage work. Please consider "sneaking" it onto your priority list. [[;)]]

    Ok, I just listened to Acker Bilk and this style of vibrato is way too exaggerated for my needs.

    I need something subtler. I've been working on Copland's Clarinet Concerto and would like to occassionally add just a touch of vibrato to some of the most passionate parts. For reference I've been studying Richard Stoltzman's recording. His use of vibrato is not over done at all. It's tasteful, expressive and lovely!

    It would be a very welcome addition to have a vibrato version.
    Can you imagine a solo clarinet playing without ANY vibrato ?

    A subtle one of course
