    Hi,

    Whenever I insert Vienna Enseble Pro as a VST3 /// Instrument in Cubase 9 or Logic X, then the Program Changes coming from the DAW are blocked in VEPro (I insert a Kontakt KSP MIDI Monitor and can track that easily in VEPro).

    The problem does not happen when I load the Vienna Ensemble Pro x 64 as a DAW Instrument.

    Is this a VEPro VST3 /// bug?

    Program change is not included in the VST3 spec

    Hi Paul,

    There is lots of VST3 info in the link you point, however I cannot find a MIDI specification which says that the Program Change messages are ignored in VST3 as Bill says?

    Hi, 

    Specs usually don't tell you what a program or standard can NOT do (there would be too many things), but VST 3 does indeed not support program changes, unfortunately.
