VE Pro not disconnecting when I close Logic Projects

VE Pro 6 which is running on a slave machine (in Windows 10) is not disconnecting when I close a Logic project (which is what is says it should do in the manual). It only disconnects when I quit Logic. I have all my instances set to decouple.

Is this normal? I'm running Logic 10.3.3 in OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan).
