    Hello!

    I'm using VEPRO Server 6 with Pro Tools HD 10.3.10 on a Mac. I'm using VEPro Server because I can run Superior Drummer 3(64 bit app) with Pro Tools HD 10 which is still 32 bit.

    I tried drag/dropping a "groove" file from the SD3 Groove Audition browser into a midi/instrument track in the Pro Tools edit window but the file would not "drop" into the track.

    Is this a known issue? Thanks!!

    PS I also plan on addressing this on the Avid PT Forum also.

    Surprised no one’s chimed in on this. Could the fact Superior Drummer 3 being a 64-bit app and Pro Tools HD 10 being 32-bit be the reason I can’t drag and drop directly into the app from the VEPro 6 Server browser? It works fine if I first drag to the desktop/Finder and then into the PT Edit Instrument track. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Adiaz,

    Unfortunately, I do not have PT 10 installed on any of my systems anymore, but I checked with Cubase 8 Pro, which can still be launched as a 32-bit application, and I could drag & drop a MIDI groove from Superior Drummer 3, hosted in VE Pro 6 64-bit, into a Cubase MIDI track without problems, so I´d assume your issue is not related to 32-bit vs. 64 bit.

    But as said before, I cannot tell how PT 10 behaves in this respect - please share as soon as you get a reply in the Avid PT forum!
