  • Real-time performance, please help

    Hi!

I have problems playing my VSL Special Collection Volume 1. I have a Studiologic SL 88 Grand with pitch and mod joysticks and an addiotnal one. How should I map them for good real-time performance? One switches between the upper articulation to the lower one...for example the first sta to the second.

The other joystick does something too (Y axis) but I don't hear a difference.

How should I configure my joysticks?

My second problem is that I have general problems choosing an articulation....I just want to play in real time without programming anything...staccato is too short, det is not sustained enough either. Sus is too long and sustained....I just want to play a chord with my left hand and a melody with my right hand...sus is too long and I can't play the melody...but all other articulations are too short.

Can't I configure Vienna Instruments so that long pressing a keyboard key triggers a sustained note (or using the pedal) and playing faster, more staccato notes automatically triggers staccato samples?
