I recently had my 64GB PC die. I bought a new PC with 32GB ram installed. I'm wondering if it's at all feasible to try to open my VEP templates that used 64GB on my new system with less ram available. Is there a way to purge it while it loads before VEP or Cubase will crash from lack of RAM? Thanks.

Recovering sessions with less RAM available?

Hi,
I think you could remove all directories from the directoy manager, open the template, unload all cells, save + close VE, and then add the directories again to the manager (don't forget to set the preload-size if needed).
(Have you tried to use the old RAM in your new PC?)
