    Hm...

That sounds a bit as if you come from high tempo Metal-Guitar-Virtuosity. I like virtuos ambitions.

But I believe you might benefit from studying ( =realising with samples) brilliant traditional Scores, for some expierience how Brilliance is written in traditional Orchestrawritings.

Her is as an exsample for a quite aggressive Orchestral sound the pretty "heavy" Bruckner Scherzo, (I sure you will present at least some passages of that with good success at the Wacken Festival to 😛)

There are a lot more, more or less know scores which might be even more inspiring. I am sure some curiosity for and studies of good Exsamples of what might be done with Orchestra might enrich your usage of the VSL-Samnples in your own compositions.

However we are today of course no longer limited to what   people in history thaught as being right or wrong, but it is often inspiring at least to be familiar with.
