  • CLICKING on VSL ENS 6 PRO INTERFACE CAUSES FOCUS LOSS

    Hi

Lately, if I click anywhere on the VSL slave interface, the application loses focus...

I have to unload and reload VSL Ens 6 Pro to get it back

  • Hi,

Please add some more information. Where exactly do you click?

  • Hi Paul

    Literally anywhere....

I'm using two screens on the slave computer.

One screen has VSL and Cubase, and the second has the video from Cubase [set to fullscreen mode on the second screen.]

Cubase is synced to Nuendo on the main computer.

So, sometimes when I select the Ensemble interface to tweak a parameter, as soon as I click anywhere, it takes me back to the previously selected screen. I can't even close Ensemble by clicking on the close button - I have to use Task manager and then "End Task".

When I reload Ensemble, it works fine, until the next time the problem occurs....

Everything works ok  - the audio link is fine - until I need to edit...

    Best

  • Hi,

Very weird, and I have not heard of that one before.

Does it change if you alter your window setup?

Any special settings for your graphic card (scaled screen)?

Any additional software that could interfere with the graphics (like an iPad transformed in an additional screen)?

Did you figure out a reliable reproduction scenario that I could try here?

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hi Paul

As far as I can ascertain, it has to do with the window size...

In the 2-monitor setup, I had maximised the Ens Pro window on one monitor, and the movie on the other screen was in Cubase Fullscreen  mode.

I have reduced the size of the Ens Pro window slightly, and so far, no issues today.

    I'll keep you posted!
