[SOLVED] Cannot use MirPro in VEPro6, Qt5Gui.dll

Hi,

I tried to use VEPro6 and MirPro24 together on my new PC(Windows10 Pro).

First, I installed MirPro24, Vienna MIR RoomPack 1 – Vienna Konzerthaus, and VEPro6.

When I click "Vinenna Mir Pro" tab around bottom of VEPro6, I get suddenly an error message:

"An unhalted exception was caught!

Module:

C:\Progra, Files\Vienna Ensamble Pro\Qt5Gui.dll

"

This happens whenever I click "Vinenna Mir Pro" tab, and so I canot use MirPro in Vienna Ensamble Pro.

(I confirmed that MirPro standalone load Vienna Konzerthaus without any problem)

Is there known method to solve this problem?

It seems the problem is supposed to be fixed in the latest 17226, but I get other crash problems for this latest version.

So I sent mail to support.

I sent a note to VSL's software engineers, too. They will look into the issue ASAP, I assume. :-)

After 3 days struggle, I finally found the solution!!

VGA chip ASpeed AST2400 on the motherboard causes the crash problem of loading MirPro in VEPro6 .

(My mother board is Asus Z10PE-D8 WS that has VGA chip ASpeed AST2400)

I disabled the VGA chip by jumper setting of the motherboard, I put Video card Asus Strix Geforce GTX 1080 on the motherboard, and installed Nvidia video driver.  Wow, everything works well on Windows10 Pro!
