  • Plugins not showing

Hi, My pluging are not showing in VEP which I am testing in Standalone mode on my PC with the iMac turned off.I open an instance - insert plugin - no plugins found. I looked and found them residing C:\\Users\Kevin\Documents.  Any ideas on why this should be.  Thanks.

  • I have searched for updates KB4480970 and KB4480960 but they are not there so it's illiminated that from the problem.

  • Hi,

On Windows, you have to assign your VST plug-in folder for every host you are using.

In VE PRO, you will find it in the VE PRO Preferences => Plug-ins.

The location of your VST Plug-in folder is chosen by you when you are installing those plug-ins, and you can also assign multiple plug-in folders.

You really need to read the manual... You will be much faster.

    Best,

  • Hi Paul, sorry for the late reply but I have been away from my/any computer since Friday.  Can I re-assign the software copy/paste to the right folder or do I have to download it again.  Thanks again for your help.

  • Hi,

    I'm afraid I don't understand the question.

  • Sorry, I mean can I copy the contents off the software library to the VST folder for it to work or would I need to re-install/download the library to the VST folder on the PC.

  • It's better not to copy and paste, as you'll need to do that every time your plugins are updated.

Best to add all the folders that contain your plugins in the VST Settings window, then rescan.
