    Will the Icon Qcon X controller work with VE Pro 7 (Via Sibelius 2019 OR Stand Alone - on iMac 5k)?

    I am using the Icon Platform X+ for to manage midi CC (EXP, FILTER, S-XF,HUMANIZER etc.) works very well as a stand alone controller. Not if you are looking at some other usage but if you're only looking to control midi then I can recomend the cheaper Platform X+. Some say that the software was lacking but I've not had any problems thus far.

    Can the Icon Qcon or Platform X+ also control VE Pro faders? I basically want to use the control surface to control the VE Pro mixer (faders, fx, etc.).

    I have not tried but I doubt it. It has built in settings for all major DAW as a mackie controller. I guess you could probably make it work somehow but not sure if it is worth the effort. Better to route all your VEP instances to different stereo outputs into your DAW and control the faders from there.

    Thanks Jhonny,

    I want to run VE Pro in standalone mode with midi input from Sibelius so I can use the surround out from VE Pro. Just looking for a solution for hands on control of VE Pro other than the current apps available through VSL.
